This is how we work...

Substance Abuse Policy: The Hughes Agency has a zero tolerance policy for drug and alcohol abuse. If you test positive for a controlled substance or alcohol while on a job site, it is grounds for immediate termination.

Safety: Your good health and safety are important to all of us. Please make sure that you follow good safety practices at all times on the job. Be aware of and follow all special safety practices required by the client company where you are assigned. You must report all accidents or injuries to our office and your on-site supervisor at the job where you are assigned.

Accidents: If you are injured on a job, you need to let your job supervisor know immediately and then let The Hughes Agency know about your condition. You will be sent to a medical provider of our choice and treated. All injured employees will submit to a drug and alcohol test.

Return to work policy: If you have been injured on a job and have been placed on limited or modified activity, it is our policy to get you back to work as soon as possible within your limitations, even if it is not with your current job assignment. We will do our best to help you not lose work time because of injury.

Job Assignments: It is your responsibility to notify us if you are going to be late or unable to report to work. We have a 24-hour answering service available seven days a week for your convenience. Please call 501-791-3303.

After being assigned, if you do not complete your shift or leave a job assignment without notifying our office, you will be paid minimum wage for the assignment and hours worked.

Paydays: Payday is every Friday, paying for hours worked the week prior. If you are no longer on a job assignment you may pick up your check at our office after 9 a.m.. Please do not discuss your pay with other employees for any reason. Doing so will result in immediate termination. If you have a problem with a paycheck, please give us a call.

Weapons: You may not carry a firearm or any other weapon to a job site.
